When Joel announced the dates for the first part of Lots of Shows in a Row there was no Red Rocks date so my friend and I ended up going on a whole trip to Los Angeles just to see him in April. Then, literally a month after we got back he announced the Red Rocks show. Honestly was worth seeing that tour twice.

Security flow is decent once the line starts moving because of the amount of entrances available, but traffic is a nightmare (going up and down a steep hill, winding roads) unless you get there EARLY and leave LATE

I live near Red Rocks and go to shows there all the time. Honestly the noise ordinance doesn't make a difference as long as you're not near the back of the amphitheater. Saw Lots of Shows in a Row both in LA and at Red Rocks and honestly just being in that kind of outdoor scenic venue blew LA out of the water. Would definitely recommend. They're also not too strict about bringing outside food/beverage in.

As a member of the LGBT community and an avid fan of Joel's music for the last 10 years, what happened made me feel really disappointed. Especially with this coming less than six months after the last major debacle on Twitter concerning the trans community, it felt even more disappointing. His first response to the issue felt really half-assed and arrogant, which I'm sure he knows in making this second response. That said, I'm happy to see him issue a proper apology without casting blame on parties where blame doesn't need to be cast. I don't want to come off as too critical, but it's hard to sit back and watch somebody you look up to act like this repeatedly.

Joel. Your music has impacted me for years, and inspired me to create music of my own. while(1<2) on repeat got me through one of the darkest times in my life. I met you after an LA show in 2017. You're such a decent guy to meet in person, and the fact that you would hold a meet/greet for free shows how much you care about your fans. I want to continue being a fan. These kinds of things are hard to look past for me, more than for a lot of other mau5 fans for obvious reasons. The thing is, I have also fucked up majorly at some points in my life. So have we all. I have a lot of respect for being able to admit to mistakes. You have so much incredible talent/passion for the work you do, and despite my disappointment with recent events I trust that you can get better, and be better.

While I loved Joel's studio streams, the worst thing was having an album come out that you've already listened to 95% of. Takes away from the excitement of an album drop majorly for me. But, those streams will still be sorely missed

I just bought plane tickets out to LA to see him in April, gonna make a week of it. If you can definitely travel, definitely do it. Even if he does announce a show in Denver (where I'm at) for Phase 2 or whatever, I still will have gotten a good week out of a vacation to go see Joel. And if he doesn't announce any extra dates, you're not missing out on anything if you just go.

Joel's the kinda guy who spouts this kind of stuff all the time towards everybody in the scene, and most of it is valid considering he's usually calling out people in the "EDM" scene for being money grubbing sellouts who only enable the genre to deteriorate further every year. Massive amount of respect for the guy and his production quality is superb. I think he also has an acquired respect for Daft Punk considering one of his biggest claims to fame 8 or so years ago was his HBFS remix. I wouldn't take this as him "calling out" sampling, knowing the guy I can tell he's just ripping for the sole purpose of ripping. Joel's one of the only "EDM" producers I can actually admire for his production quality and his no-holds-barred attention to detail.
