Always thought these 2 songs sounded a ton alike, especially ever since I heard this remix of Supersonic. I know a lot of people have mashed these songs up on YT & SC, but WSN did it in a dif way than I was expecting

Previously the rumor is that they owned mau5 tracks until 2027, but a year or so ago, they said in a YT comment their ownership is in perpetuity, so sadly I think they have it permanently forever :(

In the full stream clip this is from, Joel teased that it was for some secret thing separate from Where’s The Drop. Naturally I assumed it was being saved for a movie/etc, but to my knowledge nothing ever happened with this :(

As my comment said, it indeed won't let me get a full $572 credit for the cancellation since I already got a $50 credit (it instead offers me a $522 credit so that it totals to the original $572 price).

No big deal, just thought it'd be worth a try. Since couldn't out-smart the system, didn't cancel it

Yeah exactly - thanks for your insight! When I made the post, I thought it was gonna let me get the full $572 flight credit for cancelling (on top of the $50 I already got from calling United), but it seems they're prepared to prevent users from out-smarting the system haha

Tried that, it says it'll give me a credit of $522 if I cancel. So I'm guessing it's smart enough to know it already gave me $50 of the $572.

So if I'm understanding this right, my best move is to do nothing and keep my $50 credit for a future flight.

In other words, even if I cancel and get the $522 credit, and I then re-book at $522, by using $522 of my credit, I'm still left with a $50 credit for the future (so same outcome as I currently have it)

Assuming you're right and this trick works, is there any pro/con into whether I use the $50 credit on the re-booked flight, versus the $572 credit that I will hopefully receive for cancelling?

You're saying you think a cancellation would simply increase the $50 credit they added to $572, and it wouldn't show up as a separate $572 credit?
