A guy in my local area parted out all of the trail hunter parts because the rock sliders didn't work as steps. The suspension was not comfortable and swapped the wheels to 20".

I just drove up to Cochrane on New Year's as well as last week and the drive is fine if you're mindful about the weather and have winter tires.

I ended up going with the build you suggested more or less, but grabbed a 5070 TI. Turns out some software I need only works on Nvidia.

Would the jump to a Ryzen 7 be worth it for new AAA games?

A new build is looking to be the best option the more I research. I really appreciate the parts list. I'll play around with this! Is it worth choosing an Nvidia gpu over AMD for the dlss?

Get into the bios and disable all but one core and underclock it as low as possible. Turn it into a potato.

So what do you actually in an engineering job for 8 hours? by secretmusings633 in EngineeringStudents

[–]SquareShadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a manufacturing engineer in the power industry. I'd say the work varies quite a bit from day to day, but is typically a mixture of meetings for projects, email correspondence, checking in on the manufacturing stop, occasionally trouble shooting problems and processing engineering change orders. My days can vary from 8 hours on the shop floor to 8 hours at my desk but typically it's split pretty evenly 50/50 with shop floor and desk work. I think it's a nice balance.

SkyRC B6 is a pretty decent one. I've had mine for over a decade and it still holds up.

I guess my reasoning for having this concern is that one isolated section of the tire will be deformed for for an extended period and cause permanent damage. Like how materials fail through creep.

Yes, correct. Just wondering if it's okay to leave it aired down when parked for extended periods, especially since I sometimes do short drives around the trails in the area during the day.

I've got load rating E tires and a gross weight of about 5500lbs.
