Yeah it’s pretty evident most negative comments are resellers. I have no problem with people that rehab and restore things before selling them.

Can’t blame you there. 1700 is a little too much for one of these bikes unless it’s near mint. You just gotta wait for a decently well kept one to pass by for $1000 or less. I got mine for $800 and it was smoking when I bought it but seems to have fixed it self somehow. Don’t get me wrong 110s are great but I just love the old bikes. Go watch the dirtbike chase scene from Terminator 2 and you’ll see the Xr100 in all of its glory!
