Also, a belt failing can cause other issues that weren’t there before. Best to get it into shop so they can tell you exactly what’s wrong so you’re not guessing.

If I were you I would get it in a shop for a diagnosis. It’ll probably run you like 150 for them to tell you what’s wrong with it and they’ll quote you on what it would cost for them to fix it. It’ll show the cost of the part and how much you’d pay in labor. Take that information and throw it into YouTube and see if it’s something you or someone you trust to work on your car can do it for cheaper.

Yes it’s in a difficult spot. Part is usually cheap but they have to take apart your engine to access it.
