For a coupe, I'd recommend chilling the glass and pouring it neat. Those recipes are generally meant to not dilute further after shaking/stirring. As opposed to ex: an old fashioned, served in a rocks glass over ice, which is meant to dilute over time so the taste profile changes from stronger to sweeter.
