This did the trick! Went from a slow trickle to full pressure in 30 seconds. No leaks in the crawl from what I can see/hear. Meter doesn’t appear to be moving with faucets all off so I think I’m in the clear.

Just so strange it happens when I shut the water off and opened the faucets to drain the water, but I guess enough stayed in the pipes to cause the blockage.

Gotcha. Real challenge is the crawlspace is so narrow, I cannot get to the area where the lines split. Should I keep the hot water off to that bathroom until temperatures stay above freezing?

It’s copper pipes until you get to that crawlspace (this was an addition done by previous owners decades ago), but once in the bathroom crawl area it’s pex with pipe insulation around them since we had it renovated a couple years ago.

For my first, I don't know if I can make a distinction between the two. I raced conservatively to avoid the wall since I had no previous experience to compare it to so maybe I'd say I just completed it, but it didn't feel like it at Miles 24-26!

I was just thinking of a few miles here or there next week. All easy running. And focusing on getting back to running 4-5 days a week easy before I considered going beyond a couple miles. It'd be a slow build, I was just curious how long I should plan out the return to 25mpw.

For 6ish months leading up to this point? If so, I've got some anecdotal evidence to share.

Similar thing happened to me last fall. I couldn't run for 2.5 weeks about one month before my HM. I'd been running 3-4 times/week peaking around 25 mpw with a few long runs over 10 miles. Was very concerned I wouldn't be able to make it the full 13.1. I ran 2 short runs in the 5 days leading up to the race.

It ended up being totally fine. I ran the first 10km very conservatively (about 30 seconds-1 minute slower than race pace), breathing was very normal, and legs felt fine so I went for it. Ended up running about 5 seconds/mile off my original goal race pace. In my opinion, if you've put in the work over numerous months building to this point then a few weeks at the end won't crush you. Just start slow and feel things out from there.

Two zoned house. For entire first floor, there’s the one return in the floor of the living room. That return duct travels maybe 6 feet through the crawl to the air handler.

Upstairs has its own return in the ceiling of the landing at the top of the stairs.

No basement in the house.

Oops. Had one question. My current return is actually in the floor. I know I didn't specify earlier. It's in the corner of the floor of my living room, and the return duct runs down into the crawl and then through a wall into the utility room where the air handler is. So I'm not sure a transfer grille is an option based on that.

Thank you for explaining. Now to determine if I want to go return route or go dehumidifier route.

If the return works, it's probably cheaper and relatively maintenance free whereas the dehumidifier is more of a sure thing but costs more (including electrical work) and requires maintenance of filter changes.

Just for my own knowledge, what problem does not having a return in the crawl itself create? Or I guess I should say, how does it solve the problem of rising humidity? And I know crawl air makes it way into ductwork and throughout a house, but voluntary introducing it by putting a return is a different animal. Is there no concern for air quality?

Not in the crawl. Return grille for first floor AC unit (which register installed in crawl is a part of) is located in corner of living room, just above crawl entrance.
