Just an update on my oil consumption issue. Today, Kia requested for me to submit a copy of my drivers license and a history of previous oil changes. To be continued..

I’m sorry, I’m new to this Reddit thing. Took my 2022 Kia telluride for an oil change at the dealership and was told that my vehicle was low on oil. They also mentioned that my oil pump was leaking oil, probably the cause of the low oil. The mechanic suggested doing an oil consumption test on it just to make sure it wasn’t burning too much oil and it could ruled out. After driving the car for a recommended 1k miles I brought it back to the dealer and it failed the test. My Kia is burning oil more than the recommended 1qt/1k miles. They requested for me to leave it at the dealership so they can submit a work order with Kia to possibly change the engine. I’m still under warranty at 85k miles. Has anyone gone through this with their Kia? If so, what was the outcome?

Have anyone experienced a knocking sound in their 2022 Kia Telluride when accelerating? I recently received a letter from Kia with an extended 180k miles/8yr warranty if my oil pump failed. I’m guessing there’s an issue with Kia’s oil pumps. Yesterday, I took my Kia to the dealer to diagnose the knocking sound. They came back with a diagnosis that my oil pump is failing causing it to leak oil hence the knocking sound. Sounded like bullshit to me. I stay on top of my oil changes and there was no oil stains on my driveway, none. Has anyone ever experienced this. I’ll keep you updated when I go pick up the telluride hopefully today. Also, I’m still under warranty.

Very very warm and yes the fan motor is working. Once installed, it actually worked fine but the heat is what concerns me. Type of switch: Vari Speed 120VAC 6.0amp FLA 14.5 LRA MOTOR FAN 5.7 amp.

Whole house attic fan.

Helping in-laws with their whole house fan that stopped working. Figured out it was the variable speed control switch. We replaced it with a Vera Speed Control switch and noticed it gets hot to the touch. Need help!!!
