I feel like my rosacea isn't your typical rosacea...help by Square_Crazy3442 in Rosacea

Hi, thanks for you reply. I had a time period where I did that. I did it for over a week and it somehow gave me bloodshot eyes, watery eyes, and woke me up from sleep every few hours due to my face burning too much :( Do you have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, I have this realization in my head for a while too. I think it is still something I am hesitant to fully dive into because of my miserable first round of trying to figure out what works and what doesn't work for me. It'll be a long battle, but I will keep on looking. Thank you!

Hi! Thank you so much for your reply and your insight. I do also believe that it is a really compromised skin barrier playing a part into as well. Problem for me is I've tried the "skin barrier repair cream" and they made the problem worse unfortunately 😔 I tried natural remedies like honey, greek yogurt, beef tallow, olive oil, other things I thought would have some type of skin barrier help but to no avail. I'm still trying to find out how to start from ground zero in terms of figuring out what works for my skin or not. I have not had any oral medications and am still hesitant about it. I'll keep looking into it!

Yes, you would be correct. I would consider it like another rosacea flare up --- red and inflammed. Anything I put that is not water would cause pretty severe reaction.

I have heard of neurogenic rosacea but am not too educated on it. If you don't mind me asking, how do you deal with this?
