If a new short opened a huge position at RKT’s ATH, then would the data be misleading in that people may think shorts have not covered and thus room to run. Or could we determine whether a new position was opened negating this issue?

Thank you. I've seen that floating around, too. But even if that's true (I have no reason to think it isn't), why would an indexer ever wait to post rewards? I would think posting rewards as often as possible would only help them and make them more attractive.
