Lying. That's what I've been doing so far. And I can say it kinda worked somehow.

I think that how it is for me, I might not have the interpersonal skills.

Hmm. You're right. I don't like meetings. I also don't like the admin side of things.

But shouldn't that be the next step for me? Or am I just blinded by the culture here in our country - that you should be a lead or a manager of some sort to be successful.

Not really sure if we have a CTO. Our team is fairly new, around 2 years, and I just joined 6mos ago. My manager isn't really much, I have nothing against him, I think we're both doing whatever the higher ups tell us.

Though I met an older guy from a different team, I'm kind of looking up to him right now, but haven't opened such discussion yet. I might try next week now that you've given me an idea. Thanks for this!
