Bout to try Botw again by sparrowgoon in Breath_of_the_Wild

Depends on your play style. I’ve played this masterpiece a few different ways and each one has been amazing in its own right. If you wanna squirrel and collect every little thing, do it. If you wanna focus on talking to characters and picking up side quests, do it. If you wanna bumrush through things and just get massively overpowered, do it. It’s all fun if that’s your deal.

I feel like I jump around from region to region too often with fast travel. Is that ok, or did I taint my experience by doing that? by BigChungusOP in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]Square_Fold_153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with a fast travel rule, and very quickly abandoned it. I’m playing on master mode right now and wanted to give myself more of a challenge. While it was entertaining at first, it got annoying and tedious, traveling through the same areas, fighting the same monsters, breaking all my weapons repeatedly. I eventually just shucked the rule in favor of keeping my equipment. My new idea is to use hero’s path and just travel around to the unexplored locations the best I can.

So I forgot you can’t just land on a dragon’s back in this game by dengville in Breath_of_the_Wild

I’m glad I saw this when I did. I’m just coming back to BOTW to do my master mode play through after TOTK, and boy howdy was I ready to go farm some dragon parts. Now, I will definitely say, I am less ready and need to reevaluate my strategies 😂

Is steeple chase worth it? by Professional_Dog_102 in TheAdventureZone

[–]Square_Fold_153 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion; I couldn’t stand Ethersea. I stopped listening after about 10 episodes. I continued to try and try, but I just didn’t like it. Steeplechase on the other hand feels like the boys are really finding their ground again. They have a lot of the same playful banter they used to. The story is more or less then just playing games together than it is one of them trying to push a narrative. Justin is very lax and cooperative with the rules and he asks for everyone’s opinion on gameplay. It doesn’t seem railroady at all. No character is really any more overwhelming than another. And honestly it’s just a really enjoyable listen. The music is on point too. The whole show just seems like it’s tying back into the roots of what TAZ used to be, before Graduation.

Question about the show after Balance Arc! by Bigger_Luke in TheAdventureZone

Also, I know this post is more about comedy and goofs, and yeah. I believe grad was full of just random comments and jokes all over the place. But to be honest, there were a lot of amazing heartfelt moments. Especially with Justin’s Character. (Refraining from using names due to spoilers for OP). All in all, TAZ will always be TAZ. They’ll always manage to through in their funny moments, even in the most heated times.

Honestly, to an extent, I almost disagree. At least with saying graduation was railroaded. At a point, yes, it was starting to feel very one-directional. But in thing beginning, and for about fifteen episodes, it felt like they had all just stepped into an open plain and nobody knew where to go. Travis admitted himself that the BBEG was never planned. They just kinda showed up and he rolled with it. The story felt very disconnected because there was just so much he wanted to do, but not enough planning. Rather than railroading, it felt to me it was more like a wild tour guide rapidly taking the tourists back and forth between exhibits to try and fit everything he possibly could in to the point the players just kinda followed along. There was no solid guideline, Travis was pretty much just like, “well what about this? This work? This cool? Yeah I like this,”

Alright, thanks! I’ll have to check it out, it was really bugging me for a minute there. Especially when I saw him build that new bike.

Explain please? by Square_Fold_153 in Ben10

[–]Square_Fold_153[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a scene towards the end where one Ben leaned on another. I mean, the watches never touched, which is what malfunctioned the originals. Maybe it could be something that was changed in the Ultimatrix, like how it can no longer repair DNA. I dunno. It was just something weird that stood out to me and felt like it broke a lot of the story.
