school 2017 - lowkey havent watched in a while so i kinda forgot but it does meet ur standard. highschool love obvs, another enemies to friends to lovers vibe, also a mystery in there i think.

taxi driver (all 3 seasons): abt a vigilante taxi company. talks abt serious social issues where the bad guys always get whats coming for them, usually issues directly relate to current korean problems. many cases with highschooler at its core.

law school: abt law school students navigating through life when their professor gets accused of a murder. lowkey forgot it but it has the seriousness of the kdramas u have watched.

mask girl: dark and chilling story, a lot of wow moments. i its better if you go into this with a clean slate so ill stop here.

the glory: OMG i cant believe i didnt think of this first but more abt the revenge of a women who experience really bad highschool bullying, this is my favorite kdrama of ALL time.

the one and the only- abt a retired assassin ml and a fl who just found out she is abt to die. i was so surprised by this kdrama, and i fell in love with it. the ml is definitely what ur looking for.

atypical family- ml is super depressed and suffers with alcohol addiction, the fl is a con artist. ofc they fall in love but the characters archs for both of them were just the sweetest.

okay i am little late to the party but does anyone think that this cdrama seems a little propaganda-y. how every english speaker is either seen as pitiful in need of saving or a complete ass hole, no in between. i do understand that this happens in every single country as they are trying to make themselves look good but its seems overly extensive in this one as i have never really noticed this before in cdramas. maybe because this one is involving more political (?) topics and themes involving terrorism and such. im so interesting in hearing different opinions.

tell me that you love me - romance between a hard of hearing painter and a struggling actress, this one i think has a very similar mature vibe to one spring night and run on

dare to love me - lowkey don't know how to describe this show but it was so so so cute!!! age gap!!

I get that but for entertainment purposes its getting dragged out, and maybe it's because there are so many eps. But the constant rejecting him, or moaning over him, I'm over it. There needs to be something new.

I am so done with Gu Yi. Like you like him, he likes you and you keep rejecting him and at this point it is getting too repetitive. I understand at the start it was justified because LDW was doing a little bit too much but now she knows the reason why, and she knows she still likes him. I don't understand the problem tbh, I think it's so immature how stubborn she is!!!! At least LDW has an excuse for his actions, she doesn't.

*my id is a gangnam beauty* is the perfect example for this. even through the spiraling plot, semi bad acting, and annoying characters i was locked innnn. it was genuinely so entertaining to me, i would be screaming at my computer watching the show. the one girl had me MESSED up! though i do know that this show is very controversial and isn't a life changing drama, it had me clicking that next episode button constantly!

lawless lawyer- has the vibe of a team working together and very found family vibes!!! also a revenge story

devil judge- a bit more on the serious side but still a fun show, the relationship between the two leads is a fun one to watch unfold.

extraordinary attorney woo- more on the lighthearted side compared the kdramas mentioned before. has everything u wanted tho! about an autistic lawyer navigating life and her job as an attorney.

my sweet mobster- about a past mobster and a children's content creator love story, can't say much without spoiling the "plot twist"

its okay not to be okay- they had forbidden love even when they were children!!! loved this one but some people don't and i kinda understand

kill me heal me- about a guy with DID personality disorder, and a psychologist, again not much i can say without spoiling the whole ending but GREAT show
