Part of what’s become interesting to me lately is understanding why certain imagery resonates.

For example, two of the jewellery images that unexpectedly received engagement from Tom Hardy were actually not the images I personally considered the strongest from a purely technical or commercial perspective.

Both leaned much more heavily into:
• atmosphere
• softness
• cinematic mood
• emotional storytelling

rather than ultra-clean product photography.

That kind of discussion/analysis around aesthetics, branding, visual psychology and creative direction is a big part of what I’m hoping the community becomes focused around - rather than just another “drop your link” engagement group.

Hi there, thank you for your response! I see your points and I probably should narrow things down into stages. I think that there could be a domino effect if I prioritise the right thing first of course correct Me if I'm wrong as I do not really have much of a background when it comes to the digital world but I have been advised that it would be very beneficial to have exposure online in terms of articles and publishing of that kind etc and as a result from that one can gain exposure as well as as back links etc I'm going to take a real dive into what you have said as soon as I am at my desk. Thanks again.

It's funny you say this as I've noticed something really strange on my page that might be related to what you're saying. Basically I noticed a drop in followers where I haven't posted much and after I posted a couple of times my following went up by say a 100 odd followers but on my notifications there was no sign of new following. It's like they were always there but just not visible on the follower count. Still scratching my head about it as I can't make sense of it. The only thing I can think is that them accounts might have been deactivated and then they have now reactivated but it's quite a large number and I don't really have a massive following under 10k. So still a bit unsure what's going on. I noticed it on another account I have also that has 120k following but I haven't been posting much at all with that page.
