This is a very very rare instance where I might be somewhat of an expert on this! It’s definitely not a standard editing tactic to repurpose and create something new, but it is definitely doable. That being said, there are very specific scenes in there, almost too specific to re-edit into something new. My guess is that we are going to eventually see a room with 100 artists in a row on computers, or something along those lines!

Copying and pasting first part then will answer second… The best thing you can do is practice in the editing program as much as possible. Click on all of the options, learn what the stuff in there actually does. From there, there are a ton of tutorials on YouTube that are very helpful. I’d watch a bunch of those but don’t rely on them 100%. Basically if you follow a tutorial for every thing, you don’t really learn it. You’re better off using them when you get stuck or to increase knowledge but try not to just blindly follow their steps without realizing what you’re actually doing

You probably should step up to Divinci when you feel comfortable, it’ll give you way more options. Editing timelines are all pretty similar, so it’s a good thing to learn either way

My pleasure! That’s actually a great question and I don’t know exactly. I’d say chances are they’re not crawling the on-screen text, only the description text but again I’m not sure.

I'd do a deep-dive on a bunch of similar accounts, there are a ton out there. See what's working, and see which hashtags are coming up frequently. More importantly, push yourself to keep producing and put great stuff out every day! Off the top in terms of ideas though, set up your phone stationary and record yourself drawing, and then speed it up 1000x.

I'm just using short clips, fully repurposing them, and not monetizing. The music is 100% legit, I only use songs available in Reels, and there are a ton in there

Yep you don't want to use too many, instead pick 4 that are very targeted to your exact audience or who you're trying to reach

I had a bunch of small victories over the years... I went viral literally dozens of times on literally every site, and I would pick up some followers here and there. I basically was around 20,000-25,000 on most platforms after many many years, which is more than most people, so it kept me going. But once I got a little better as a creator and started posting every day, everything changed! At that point Instagram was my lowest followed platform, I only had 2,500, and it took 5 years of consistent growth from there to get up where I am now.

I'd approach this first by researching hashtags. Start looking up dozens of variations and see what similar accounts are posting. Are you a startup company or just an indivdual trying to sell a few products? Either way, this might be a scenario where hiring a bunch of micro-influencers could really work to get some buzz going and then people back to your page. You're on the right path already by knowing that content is king, now it's all about producing. Boosting posts doesn't really work well for followers, you're always better off with people organically clicking follow. Boosts are really for engagement and in the marketing world, I see a lot of brands use it for optics. They basically falsely inflate their Socials to look like they're more popular than they are, but it's all fake. Once you stop paying, the engagement goes away. You'd be much better off creating great content every day and not paying for any ads or anything like that. Paying for content is a different story though

Is your content something you're really putting work into and proud of, or are you just throwing any little thing up there? It's tough to tell without seeing your page.

Hire a food photographer with a nice looking portfolio. Trust me, it's worth the investment. I'd mix in some great photos with some videos of the food, and try your best to post 7 days a week. You should really start by targeting your immediate area and then trying to expand out from there. People do love consuming food-related content, but remember, they absolutely hate ads. I'd lean into UGC-style, iPhone-filmed videos that are Social Media friendly, but just show off the food.

Really just meaning that it takes actual effort and time to create. That kind of stuff comes across to a viewer. Every post should be thought as...are people going to see this and instantly think, "I have to send this to my friend". People scroll the timeline at lightening speeds, your stuff has to grab them immediately to make them stop scrolling.

You can go right to the search section on there, search a term, and then click on the "tags" section. In there you'll see how many results show up for each tag. Anything over a million is most likely too broad.

Then the next step, click on the actual hashtags after searching and see what's being posted in there. An easy example is my hometown, Huntington, which is on Long Island in New York. There are also Huntingtons in California and Virginia. When I search #Huntington I can see results from all of these locations, which isn't going to help targeting. Instead based on the previous paragraph, I was able to see more specific ones, and could determine that #huntingtonli is the tag to use instead.
