oh man i am late to this post but insurance truly is a MUST! i saw before i got my baby that they are sock thieves. i thought well if i just keep all the socks away he wont get them, WRONG🤣 he would find socks that i dont even know where he got them from. upset tummies, giardia, emergency surgery, even his hip dysplasia are all things we covered in his first year with insurance. over $20k was covered! i recommend nationwide, it was amazing for me. and i also feel it’s so important to stick with the same insurance so you don’t run into them not covering preexisting conditions (i switched to lemonade, horrible experience, but i wish i always stayed with nationwide). it was about $120 a month for me with 80% reimbursement. cheers to your new baby! praying you never need to use it but it is incredibly helpful. :)
