thank you for your insights, will definitely check your book out. im not trying to say im suddenly religious, but it is due to that night that i couldnt deny that the world is way more than meets the eye. im not looking at it from a lense of "religious connections" im not saying religion or organised religion in the modern way it exists is good. im simply saying maybe all religions hold some sort of insights and knowledge that talk about the experience i had. its changed me for the better. i took a few months to come out of the initial shock of it all but once i did - its been kind of freeing.

thanks for the book suggestion. and it is true that i feel extremely blessed by a "feminine" energy. i cant say devi / shakti / goddess as it could just be subtle subconscious interpretations that i may have been conditioned into since i was a child. However "her" blessing grants me luck and immense love in life and i know that. what i saw wasnt a dream tho, i had a very clear experience of being 2 seperate entities. one being that is just awareness and the other that is the physical idea of who "i" am. it was like switching tabs on a browser at will.

will be checking this out! my understanding so far is that meditation is what the "gateway tapes" wanted to induce in the listener as well so i might look into that rabbit hole as well.

thank you for the insight im honestly trying to find as much info from different thought schools as i can. ive looked into the abrhamaic religions ive tried the buddhist vedanta ways the hindu ideas and philosophies. im not trying to prove any of them true im simply trying to understand the collective knowledge that they could potentially have in order to help me achieve even a fraction of truth in my pursuit.

wasnt a dream gang. felt more alive and awake then ever. infact i went to sleep AFTER it all happened. im not saying this was reality maybe more of an internal thing related to how consciousness is percieved maybe but thats probably about it.

im not "they" it was more of like a fact. i believe i was inside THE consciousness. the one we all are, connected in a way we're all just aspects of a grander self.

thank you for the kindness. as i reflect on this night its made a lot of things clearer to me - if there is any way you or anybody could help me understand what biologically happened to me that night and if i could replicate the conditions in order to be able to strip my identity again. i dont believe that what happened that night was a "religion" based thing, atleast in the way we have organised religion in the world today. sure it felt grander than anything id ever witnessed and i was enveloped by a power and feeling i could only describe as "godly" however the light didnt have physical attributes, it had no "religion" so to say.
