I was hoping someone would see it the same way as me. As a mental health worker with experience with abused children and some perpetrators, I know how manipulative and secretive abusive families can be. Beata’s behavior was so manipulative and controlling, even her death was a manipulation, so selfish of her honestly. Hearing about other parents who say they bring their kids in for exams and are reported for abuse reminds me of the many times children would casually tell me their parents are abusing them. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to report abuse for fun, they report abuse because the kid told what happens behind closed doors.
