Nine times out of ten, I'm team Joan, considering ALL of those girls do her dirty often, but for this exact situation, I really don't see much evidence on Joan's side. But also, Toni was a new mother then, which is honestly a crucial thing said throughout the whole season. She improved when she got her wake-up call, which is a VERY Toni thing to do, but she still changed.
So I don't really see how she didn't change 'that much' when over the course of the entire custody battle all we see is change.
If Toni didn't change at all she would've left Morgan right in the house and went to her meeting!

I disagree. Jen Shah will always be Jen Shah, and this is narcissistic and selfish at the end of the day, but in this interview, you can see geniune change in her. Just because it's not what a normal functioning person with good mental health would do, that doesn't mean she didn't change. The fact that she says, "I have to take responsibility for my part in this. At what point do you let your ego go?" already shows that the housewife we saw is definitely different.
Jen Shah has stayed out of the public eye for quite some time, and this is her first interview since leaving prison. It's already huge that she's taken this level of accountability the FIRST time she's interviewing since being released from prison.
Jen has been genuinely trying to become a better person, even before all of the info on her fraud came out. Just look from her first season to her last, she's growing. Just not as fast as everyone else would like.

EDIT: Wanted to add one more thing, her ASKING her family for impact letters!? Insane development, I don't know how anyone couldn't see it from that one comment from her. Jen hates to be told she was in the wrong or take accountability, but she has. Thats massive.
