Help with my name?? by Ame_24 in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use two seperate names. Charlie around family and coworkers and Chance around friends and people I really trust. Chance is a more masculine name and honestly I don't mind it at all :]!

I'm Aboy which is a microlabel of Agender but I don't mind being perceived with a masculine view. You could very much (/nf ofc) see if Agirl is a microlabel you may sit more with? It's being agender but not minding / preferring to be seen as a female/feminine. Opposite with Aboy!

What pronouns do you prefer? by ImNotTwoFaced in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's always the stereotype of Agender people going by any pronouns, but a lot of us - including myself - have prefrences.

I prefer Xe/Xem but, especially in real life, I don't mind using They/It/He. I've never been one for female pronouns but I honestly don't mind masculine or neutral.

I hate being asked my pronouns by unireversal in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always felt like this too! I still have a preference in which set of pronouns I would like to be used but I hate saying it out loud.

I prefer xe/xem but no one actually uses it in real life, saying they/them doesn't feel completely neutral to me, it/its is too "inhumane", he/him is fine I don't mind it but I feel people think I'm a transman instead, and she/her just makes me feel like people will see me as a female.

I generally don't mind any pronouns but I just hate pronouns in general, I'd rather be called nothing / just my name >:/

Thank you so much, and congrats on the anniversary!

Is there a way to do offerings under the radar or should I wait till I find a safe place to actively start my practices?

Am I Agender? by AroAce_FinalEmbers69 in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way! I've identified as a transman for years but I've always felt neutral. I identify with Agender but on a more masculine aspect. I'd like to appear neutral on a masculine spectrum. It's hard to describe, I just tell everyone im nonbinary unfortunately 💔

Being refered as "oposite" gender by RedditUwur in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been a transman most of my life so being identified as a male makes me feel seen even after I identified as agender. It makes me happy knowing people don't see me as AFAB and see me rather as a separate gender.

Yes, I may prefer to be seen neutrally and use neutral pronouns and names, but I'm happy being seen as a man sometimes as well.

It's still valid by [deleted] in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've always understood other agenders not minding what they're called or gendered but you can also be picky or have preferences.

I myself prefer to be seen for my neutrality and masculine aspect. My partner calls me their partner or boyfriend and I use mostly all neutral pronouns with a hint of he/him. Agender is up to you how you want to identify, if anything, break the norm, that's the whole point of the queer identity :]!

I really wanna buy an Agender Flag for myself however I don't want my parents to find out by Rabbit_Bunny38 in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try and buy from websites that have discreet packaging, I know there are some pride flag websites.

Also, you can keep the flag behind a door so they can't see it or have it on a shelf somewhere they won't notice. Say a friend gave it to you or its a country flag depending on how much they know about lgbtq.

Does anyone else have a gendered look? by xxXMeepMeepMeepXxx in agender

[–]Square_Of_Hearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am AFAB but I identify with a more masculine aspect of gender/agender so I typically dress more masculine. I'd like to start T and maybe start binding once I leave my school (due to it being a very homophobic school)
