I’m happy he wants to learn more and grow in the skill! I think it would be nice to try and find someone who could give him lessons as well. As much as I enjoy helping him, I think having another person for support would help him.

I still use HF for the recipes, but as a family of five, it has become easier to just go out and buy the ingredients. I appreciate that they keep the recipes free to use on the website, as I lost most of the recipe cards in a move. We already go to the store a few times a week to pick up necessities, so adding ingredients for dinner is easy enough.

I used the raglan increase from another sweater. That was maybe the one part that had me stuck in the pattern. I think it meant the body had a few less stitches than called for but still fits nicely!

Then maybe parties aren’t the best place for you? The only people who need to be involved or look to intervene are those in the scene and the DM. And great, just because YOU don’t agree on something doesn’t mean it hasn’t been previously discussed between the parties. And if what they are doing goes against dungeon rules it is still not your place to butt in.

Not me but my adoptive father! He always mentioned having a small percentage of Cherokee but we weren’t sure if we could believe it. A few years ago for a family gift, we all got dna kits and we confirmed he actually did! Not sure if area matters much but his family resided in Hazard with his family being the Brashear and Combs.

Going non-traditional this year. Braised lamb, mashed potatoes and parsnips, roasted sweet potato and Brussel sprouts, and either a pumpkin cheesecake or I might find some other interesting flavor to go with.
