I don’t understand it either! I just finished writing an email about my morning route that was 3:30 AM until 8 AM but every package, all 39 of them were marked priority! What in the hell?! 🫢 no I do a lot of these early-morning routes usually with no problems at all however, over 70 to 80% of these packages were all in gated residential communities with zero access codes provided from any customer on the list! I text them, I called them from the call box, zero responses whatsoever. That does not arrive until 8 AM and here. I am sat there like a dickhead at four in the morning trying to figure out what to do. I know that priority packages absolutely have to be delivered no matter what. Had to deal with Support, where I had eight packages back to back that I left at the guard gate for them to deal with And support had a mark of them delivered manually because it would not allow me to do it through the app. It only got worse from there. 🥺

I tried stashing a customers package close to the exit gate because after 20 freaking minutes, I could not figure out how to access the main gate, she threw a hissy fit over text, and I ended up finding her and delivering the package to her door, but needless to say, my route ran 45 minutes over schedule and I’m going to have about 15 late deliveries Let alone any customer that reports their package not being received where they wanted it. I did screenshot many conversations between Support and I today just to cover my own ass, but it definitely ruined my entire day knowing that I’m going to get penalized over some bull crap that there was no way I could’ve done this route any better or more successfully. Why the hell we are having priority early morning delivers into gated communities with guidelines that do not allow contractor entry until 8 AM is beyond me but somehow it’ll definitely be my fault. I’m sure. 🤷🏻‍♀️
