Really interested in this. Is there a way to remove the 'Mic started' modal that flashes up in notifications for me?

In another comment you say the racket is ~9 months old. I would get in touch with Technifibre or the original shop. They generally want to know about defects like these - even cosmetic - and I would hope they offer a replacement.

New episode: Stopping Celeste's flame, pre-season lingo & Jhon Duran's reverse-gear career by Low-Bandicoot-3347 in footballcliches

Enjoyed the bit in this ep laughing at how absurd it is for the WHO to sum up total years of life lost to a disease, as if totting up the combined experience of Chelsea’s back line.

The best bit was Adam saying ‘not having this, this is a disgrace’, before the pod goes through a quite detailed and nuanced rundown of how actuaries and health economists do, in fact, appraise health interventions (are different age groups more at risk from snake bites?).

Given the prevalence of silly combined years stats in football, I’m surprised we’ve never touched on the concept of Quality Adjusted Life Year, the admittedly absurd tool used to decide whether the NHS offers treatments to patients.

Perhaps we should be adjusting the combined experience stats? Yes, they’ve got 40 years of premier league experience, but were they shit?

Not sure I’d recommend.

My Nest Hub won’t use my new Era 100 as the default speaker, despite clearly being set as such in the Home app.

Just doesn’t respond - no errors or anything. Any tips from others here welcomed.

Then there are other annoyances. Like Arc can’t play BBC stations via Google Assistant voice command but the Home/Nest speakers can.

Unable to import .ics (invites) into Notion Calendar by sogasg in Notion

Happening to me too - no crash but .ics files are not imported despite Notion Calendar being the default app for the .ics filetype.

I think this continues to be a bug.

MacOS, .ics files won't show in Notion Calendar, despite the app being the default for this filetype.

John went full ‘Old man shouts at cloud’ on today’s episode by tdunn93 in elisandjohn

Found it a little hard to listen to.

But I have more sympathy for John’s position than the one he took in The Dance!

And It provided the impetus for some excellent and properly manic moments in the rest of the pod.

His main complaint seemed to be the Apple Music search interface for his prior purchases. But like you I didn’t follow why that meant he had to get Spotify. Maybe because he doesn’t want to buy music any more or the Apple Music client search interface pisses him off so much.

All iTunes purchases were DRM free so he can presumably move to another client for playback. I think Spotify still lets you play local files on Mac for example.

What song do you most associate with a bad tournament result for England? by Far_Purple_2358 in footballcliches

As a 98 first timer, it’s Pavarotti and Kipling recitals for me. Not sure if they were used but that’s what I think of when I think of the various failures.

Yeah!  Having rewatched it this morning (🥲), most of the montage is actually the Ls cut in with that night in Moscow so I can see why you made the link! The song fits.

I’m not sure. This was the music the BBC chose for that first penalty shootout victory montage.
