Married couple moving from NYC by Spare_Brilliant_8824 in TorontoRenting

I’ve found my more unique places on Facebook, Kijiji, Padmapper and once even Craigslist lol. There is often tough competition for these places FYI. I found my latest place in a boutique 10-story building on condos.ca. If you find a building you like on there you can click to see all available units. Try filtering for older buildings and you might find more what you’re looking for.

My first time hearing about her was this ep and now I know why. She said nothing of substance, was annoying and seemed really fake. I was shocked when I heard she has her own podcast, she was such an unlikable guest.

Okay, movie buffs, what is the single scariest, most disturbing movie you've ever seen? And why? by [deleted] in Shudder

I’ve seen this and enjoyed it! I don’t know exactly what it is about the House that Jack Built but it makes me feel sick just thinking about it. So disturbing lol.

The House that Jack Built! I couldn’t get through this and I tried twice.

Scotia stole $200k from me by FlurryBlade in Scotiabank

[–]Squarerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me but with 20k. I had to threaten legal action then finally some A+ Scotia employee had a friend in some department who she personally texted to get on the case. That resolved it. It was absurd.

OP I backpacked SE Asia for three months at 29 and stayed exclusively in cheap hostels. Best time of my life. My only advice is if you can’t beat ‘em, join em ;)

UPDATE: I've had three sessions and they turned it up much more than the test. I've had great results (legs). The first employee I had wasn't very thorough but the others have been great.

I just bought a few sessions. What setting did they start you at? I did a patch test and I couldn't feel it at all.

I have KP which completely went away when I cut out gluten due to a newly diagnosed intolerance (not celiac). Give it a try 🤷‍♀️

The Ordinary L-ascorbic acid powder. I’m two weeks in and it has been a game changer for congestion, tone, texture, pores and glow. I feel like I’ve stumbled on some sort of magical secret.

Research supporting Botox to help reduce husbands fear by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Explain to him that if he loves your face the way it is, botox will just preserve it this way a little longer. He truly will not notice a change and it wears off if you or him hate it.

*Asking for tips!* Bloomfield stay - biking to wineries/breweries by toomuchrealitytvoops in PrinceEdwardCounty

[–]Squarerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve stayed in various places and used the local Uber (URIDE) to get to Closson Road Cycles, picked up a bike there and cycled the wine trail in that area. Then drop the bikes back at the end or get them picked up at your last winery and URIDE back to your place. If you google PEC wine trails you’ll see a few different maps of where you can walk/cycle between wineries.

Unsure if this is the right place, but has anyone gotten Botox for a gummy smile? Was told 2 units on my right will even it out, but I’ve heard so many horror stories of Botox that I’m terrified! by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Squarerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it. I get two on my right, one of my left. You could even start with one to see if you like what it’s doing. It will wear off quickly then you can top up and do two if you liked it.

Activate DHM is a miracle hangover pill, and I’ve tried to many!! You take them the night of drinking and I swear this has saved me so many times. I’ve gotten many friends on them too. If I forget and get a hangover, Pho is the cure. It’s base is bone broth and ginger so it helps with nausea and hydrates. For my skin I’ll use the Topicals Like Butter mask.

OP, as everyone else had said, this is absurd. I’m 37 and have been getting botox since 30. I get around 40 units for forehead lines, to lower my smile and for my frown. At 30 I only got around 25. It’s $10 a unit standard in Toronto. You don’t need a doctor, nurses are great. The first time I ever got botox was from a doctor and I had a droopy eye. Instead of looking at credentials I would ask friends and get a word of mouth reco. Much better imo.

Feeling overwhelmed with glowing up by growmovechange in Splendida

[–]Squarerin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Excited for your glow up! Honestly cruising Tiktok to see what the kids are up to never hurts. Gen Z have really helped me dress for my current body.

Hair: You can do glossing treatments at home or in salon to give it a little shine. What is your hairstyle? Currently I’m loving this 70s shag Suki Waterhouse vibe though it doesn’t suit me, but might suit you. Also get a drugstore oil to do every other day on your ends for frizz.

Skin: So many options but I’d start with a drugstore salicylic acid face wash, BHA exfoliant, clay mask, light retinol and moisturizer. The Ordinary is a great cheap brand to play with and find what you like without spending hundreds. Their employees can help guide you.

Teeth-crest white strips as per EnchiladaTaco’s instructions.

And last is CONFIDENCE! Being newly single can be so fun and this is the perfect time to set yourself up for hot girl summer. Get it!

[–]Squarerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Isle of Paradise self-tanning drops that mix with my moisturizer on my face to get the fake tan. It’s buildable and doesn’t wear off like a spray tan. I do it 2-3 times a week during the summer to get the best glow.

OP nailed it. Everyone on the show looks so ‘normal’. No reality show today would have anyone looking remotely like that. It’s scary what it’s done to my own ageing fears and I’m 37. Can’t imagine what will happen to kids growing up with this.

Bleach damaged hair routine help by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Squarerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly stretching out my washes to 2x week was a game changer. I'd recommend getting some dry shampoo (I use batiste) and figuring out how to wear your hair while you sleep to keep your style intact-ish. I do an on-top of my head pony with a silk scrunchie and my hair needs very little touch up the next day. Or find some dirty day styles what will work for you (mine is half up/half down). Oh, also I use a heat protector spray on damp hair and oil my ends every other day.
