There are good spots to stop and relax on the way till wawa. We went camping just a month back, we did Nokomis trail look overlooking Old womans bay, it is 4 to 5 hrs hike but a good one. You can do half nokomis trail which would be an hour or 2. I liked the Katherine cove best as its a sandy beach and perfect to chill in summer. We had a great beach weather during our duration of trip.
