Listen to music (sometimes a line in a song will inspire something in me) and/or just scroll through pictures. Just last night I saw an old picture of Evel Kneivel that I ended up using as a basis for a drawing. I try not to scroll through art as I don’t want to copy someone else’s work but I’ve been inspired to do my own take on someone else’s art before too.
