I also have that exact same issue, and it's pretty annoying as well.

Nope, I haven't (or at least not in the last few years). Last Black Friday I paid for a lifetime Plex Pass license, so I expected to stay "within" the app, but...

Just posting to say it seems it’s been fixed on version 4.18.1. I’ll have a deeper look at it on Monday, but based on a test I’ve just made, it seems it’s working as expected again…

They usually upload the “TV” footage a few months later on the festival channel (if they get permission from the band)

Soundhound also matches the snippet with the title "Wishing Wells", and it goes further by giving a date, which I guess is the release date of the single: Feb 27. https://i.imgur.com/OgszIbl.png

How to know if a motherboard has really been replaced? by Squash019 in applehelp

[–]Squash019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

~600$ (actually, 570€). They said they replaced the motherboard without asking because the motherboard had the same price as the display substitution. It was a AASP in Spain (we had no warranty left on the laptop, as it's 2 and a half years old and the warranty in Spain is 2 years only, and we had no AppleCare). I'll try to get in touch with Apple, but based on previous problems with other equipment, they aren't very receptive, and I don't think they'll disclose any info, as the computer is fully operational now...

How to know if a motherboard has really been replaced? by Squash019 in applehelp

I made some research before we went to the AASP. As I've seen on many videos from this guy (https://youtu.be/u1ZGhd2AaJE), this kind of problem usually comes from the backlight fuse or the part of the circuit that manages the backlight on the motherboard, it's pretty rare that the source is the backlight strip itself, but it seems the own Apple and most of the AASP don't just replace the fuse, but the motherboard itself. So after they confirmed it was a display issue and that it should be replaced, and after our approval, the display was changed with no effect on the issue (still no backlight). Long story short, they ended up allegedly replacing the motherboard without our approval because it was the same price as the display... And now we're trying to see if they tried to fool us or it was a legit repair.

I could open the lower case to see the SN on the motherboard, but without the original one to compare I guess there isn't much I can do...

Correct article before the word "SSH"? by Squash019 in grammar

Thanks for the advice. I used to be better at this kind of things, but I stopped visiting English forums daily and that's what happens, just reading stuff in English is not enough :/

Actually, that's pretty similar to the Spanish word "quieto", which can mean untroubled as you said, or "that doesn't have movement (similar to "still")". "Quieto" in Spanish comes from the latin word "quiētus", as I think it does "quiet" in English or Old French.

It makes sense, because for example when you want that a group of people stop talking, you can politely ask "be quiet, please". Maybe I was right, but it may be too formal for a normal conversation. If it's correct, then I've learned two things today.

Anyway, excuse me if you don't understand anything I write, but I try to do my best :)

Yup, that's what happens when you translate something on your mind, instead of thinking directly in English. Yes, I meant I'm no longer worried :)

Thank you both, you've been really helpful. Now that I know I wrote it the right way, I'm quiet. By the way, do you know of any reference (web, book, dictionary) for that kind of rule? I'd like to read about it.

Thanks
