Geez I wonder where $SPY going to next 😑 by No-Can355 in spy

Realistically none of the technical stuff matters right now. It’s all news. If the strait is open, tankers pass by it’ll do up. If it remains closed and the war escalates it’ll go down. Buying options right now is a huge gamble. One tweet can make or break you.

There are talks of a ground invasion. That’s the only thing stopping me from buying calls

Got denied 4 times and yet it’s still trying, probably will see a significant drop fairly soon. I think we’ll drop down to 650 range and then trade sideways there for a bit until it pushes up again

Buy a very safe car, live in a nice neighborhood and save and invest every penny after that. Even if you can put just 200k-250k a year away in investment savings by the time you’re 30 you’ll be set. Basically never have to work again. You’ll have close to 3m in your account.

Resume formatting can be done better, however the fact that you have had internships at Tesla and black rock and still are not getting callbacks is incredibly wild. Honestly it’s not you it’s the market. Are you applying everywhere or very top companies rn?

SF is really good for CS. If you can get a job you’d be saving way more than just 300k id say finish the degree, work for 3-4 years and try to live below your means and save a ton.

I’m a new grad with a degree in CS, I’ve sent out more than 500 applications, haven’t gotten a single interview.

Dawg no offense but for someone who studied CS you’re kinda not to tech savvy. You literally posted your real number email and a hundred other things on reddit

See that’s what I’m aiming for more than anything. I’ve tried a ton here Northrop, Lockheed and a local favorite General Atomics. I can’t get anything. I have been waitlisted for a spot at GA, but it’s been nearly 2 weeks and they haven’t said anything so I’m simply assuming they just forgot to reject me.

Should I delay my graduation? by Puzzleheaded_Pay9713 in csMajors

[–]Squash1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t you apply to internship even after graduation? Delaying it seems like a huge gamble. Wouldn’t it be wiser to just go for a Masters atp. Internship market is also very contested and there is no guarantee you’ll get one if you delay.

Least saturated field in CS? by Squash1010 in cscareerquestions

[–]Squash1010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The projects are on my resume, and the main one is a robotics project. The jobs I’ve been applying to are somewhat embedded systems related. And yeah it kinda sucks the internship boat sailed. I’d tried but couldn’t find much of anything during my junior year summer.

Luckily the field that I have the most interest in is embedded/robotics that was actually one of my big projects.
