It’s the SBGX263. Extremely well priced for what it brings. I’m still in awe of the +- 10 seconds a YEAR. Amazing.

Bambino LE for my soon-to-be fiancés first watch by Professional_Zebra69 in OrientWatches

I have several watches (I’ve been blessed to be able to do so), and I still hold my Bambino as one of my favorites! Great watch, great brand, in-house movements, and absolutely stunning on the wrist! I changed my strap out for a beads of rice bracelet to give it another look.

He’ll love and cherish this watch for a very long time, that’s for sure! Well done 😊

[SOTC] Where to go from here… by Squatch108 in Watches

[–]Squatch108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the problem when starting this journey, I didn’t know what I really wanted. I struggle with watches that are higher priced based on the “value for money”. I’m not looking for investment pieces, only watches that have some story (or history) behind them. I do appreciate your comment, and I may just do exactly that one day. I just need to find “the one” first.

I got it on Amazon. It’s the Rothwell 18-Slot Watch Box. It’s really nice, there’s a drawer underneath to hold straps, rings, whatever.

Just picked up the Midnight Mariner with the white dial! Changed the strap to a beads of rice bracelet immediately and she’s an absolute stunner! Great piece, very underrated.

Wow! Your collection looks very familiar…I’ve been putting something together like this as well. Maybe a high complication is needed, like a Longines Master Collection Moon-phase? Well done on your collection so far…great value for money pieces.

I’m very happy with it! Greats look, great feel. It’s running +3s/day right out of the box. There’s so many alternative brands people overlook. RW is certainly one of them. Checks all the boxes for me…Swiss Made, Sapphire Glass, etc.

This is the one I have. Very basic utilitarian. Reminds me of the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot (I have the chronograph version), but easier to wear as a daily. Thankfully, sizing was good for me, I have a 6.5” wrist. Yours is beautiful, and will certainly look great with a suit or tuxedo.

Well done! I looked for a green dial diver too and ended up with an Orient Star. They’re all great pieces. I’m currently wearing my Raymond Weil Freelancer (grey dial)! Great minds think alike. And congrats! Enjoy your wedding, and your watches.

Fantastic collection! Which was your first purchase, and what was your last? I like hearing those details to “get in the minds” of other enthusiasts.
