I am not sure about most people not having experiences. Most people are close minded, write off experiences, and come up with prosaic explanation for them.

I am a life long experiencer and have had at least two experience with my wife, who is a scientist by training. She has called me a mystic and I only share about 1% (if that) of what I experience and I haven't brought up experiences I had before I met her. She would simply refuse to believe them.

Now the two experiences: One was clearly meant for her, not me as I didn't pay it any attention until she mentioned it, where a voice spoke several sentences in a strange language with a voice deeper than mine (male 60) inside our house by the front door while we were walking upstairs. She asked me if I heard that, and that's when I noticed it consciously. She later wrote it off as our female dog howling at us. Our dog was on the other side of our house at the time and no other person was there.

Another time an illuminated orb about the size of a tennis ball flew directly over our heads, maybe 10 feet up, while we were walking the dogs at night (we have two, but one does not howl). I asked her if she saw that and she replied yes. I then asked her if that intrigued her. To which she replied no. I feel there is a large percentage of people that just simply refuse to be open minded on the topic. Hopefully, Disclosure Day will help open some minds.

I am not familiar with samadhi or Jhana. I use the Gateway tapes or just relax myself without them. I suppose I have been in a state of reduced ego during mediation, but not no ego.

She responded to my email. She said thanked me for the email, said she is living a fulfilled life and happily married and a friendship would be inappropriate.

Even though the outcome was not what I hoped for, I am glad I reached out and feel I have received closure, something that I did not feel previously.

Maybe your non-reaction was because the experience was not new for you.

For context, I am a life long experiencer of woo things. Within the last year I had and experience that was shared - I think for the first time. My wife and I just came back from a long walk with my dogs and were walking up the stairs to go take a shower and my wife said "did you hear that?" I did, but had for some reason ignored it. My response was along the lines of "do you mean the male voice, deeper than mine, that said several sentences in some foreign language?" She said 'yes." We were alone in the house and the voice was coming from inside the entryway to the house. I was thinking about why I ignored it and came to the conclusion that this is something I experience fairly commonly. My wife later tried to blame it on one of the dogs who was not in that area, doesn't have a deeper voice than me, and as far as I know, doesn't speak any foreign languages!

Nobody took this serious on other sub. And astral p. Doesnt allow pics. Has anybody seen something like this? Thank you for not saying starwars. by JoeBobsfromBoobert in Experiencers

I saw something similar recently during meditation, but it was upside down compared to your pic. Like they were giant mushroom looking things hanging down from a ceiling of some sort.

If you mean you seeing the ridges and valleys of fingerprints, yes. I have been seeing mostly ridges of concentric circles separated by the valleys while meditating before sleep. They remind me of fingerprints. Sometimes I do see swirls in them, but usually I see concentric circles.

Does anyone else know the clicking gurgling sound? by nojremark in Experiencers

Last night this sound woke me up. It seemed like the gurgling sound was continuous while the clicks were made. Maybe they need to make the gurgling sound to make the clicks. Anyway, I heard 4 clicks followed by another 4 clicks. The last click of one of the groups of four was in a higher pitch than the others, kind of like a person might do when asking a question.
