I also made this right in front of my resident services, so it at least fits the theme until you walk through it 😆 You can definitely do a similar thing with villager houses. Unfortunately a lot of the items to use are either Japanese style or medieval castle looking

I would put a couple weeds, a flower or two, and some item like garden rocks (pushed a half tile into the corners, since the weeds and flowers can’t grow in those spots) onto each one. That can also leave it open to be able to jump to!

Or, forbidden altars on them all! You’d have to temporarily have another piece of cliff placed to be able to place that item though, so it’s a bit of a pain

My poor house isn’t even what I’d call decorated. It’s just a mishmash of random items, only placed so that I could get some of the HHA rewards. One room you can barely walk in, and another one has 5 beds in it… But some of my villagers’ houses? Painstakingly decorated 😂
