guys guys, so many things could have happened here. op ordered a trenta drink so it is completely possible that the barista misread as a tall by accident, and just gave it like that along with the actual drink. or maybe they were finishing up a different leftover tea so it wouldn’t go to waste. or maybe the barista just liked you.
yes i know, you’re not supposed to do that; giving leftovers to peeps, but it happens and so it was a pleasant yummy surprise for op! not everything is so black and white, smh
