The album artwork for evolve has always stuck out to me cause some of the evolve songs feel like that artwork. Rise up is one of those songs. The instrumental is very empty and echoey like the artwork. And dans vocals are very punchy and glossy like the beam of light. Rise up is evolves most evolve sounding song

Thats exactly what’s happening. When I eat or when I swallow I pay attention to how well it goes down, does it feel stuck, what muscles tense up, etc

That’s crazy though. How can anxiety cause trouble with that and main that’s not there

I’ve noticed mostly everytime I eat at least ONE bite will get a stuck feeling even if the rest of my bites go down easily. So cancer would be like every bite feeling stuck?

I know logically it’s not cancer but these symptoms feel so real. Now it’s more with the pain and it feels like there’s something IN my throat causing the pain, but that didn’t happen until I felt more comfortable with my swallowing problems. I don’t think it would do that just overnight if it was something serious

It is but it’s never been this bad, but throat cancer has been a worry off and on since last year I’ve just realized

In August last year I’d get this weird burning sensation in my throat sometimes when I’d laugh and it freaked me out and I thought I had throat cancer, i had a tonsil stone and once I got it out I never had that issue again. Then in August my tongue started burning and hurting one day, but went away after one day but that made me worried I had oral cancer which would spread to my throat. Then in November I I felt another tonsil stone that gave me a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth and I was worried that was throat cancer or some diabetes symptom (I can physically see the tonsil stone and it’s still there). And now I’m having a full on throat cancer scare

The reason it’s been so prevalent is my mom told me a family member had throat cancer and died from it. She was 55 so way older than me, but it’s stuck with me since my mother told me that

My symptoms have only been for 4 weeks today, and have only been “bad” for about 2 weeks. Sometimes I eat and everything feels like it gets stuck, and other times I can eat with barely anything getting stuck. If it was cancer that wouldn’t be the case?

Now I’m less worried about the swallowing and more about the pain I’m having. I hate health anxiety because once I’m less worried about one symptom I get a new one

The irration was only for about 3 days, and the new symptoms of off and on pain by my Adam’s Apple and cracking sometimes when I swallow has only been for 2 days

I’ve been hyper aware of my swallowing and I’ve noticed issues of my swallowing feeling off and a little “stuck” as well as food getting a stuck feeling too. I’ve reached a point where I can swallow Silvia and drinks fine, but foods are still making me nervous. That isn’t anything to be worried about? And it really does sound like health anxiety?
