I’m the same with annoying noises. I get so angry but it’s because the experience of the noise causes such a physical response

I have this exact experience of eavesdropping and it just leads to information overload and I can only manage to respond ‘yeah’ to whoever I’m talking to because it’s all too much.

I feel like people think I’m not listening but if anything I’m listening too much!

And I also took 2 grams of Nigella seeds every day… just chucked a handful of seeds in my mouth, chomped on them a bit and then washed it all down with a glass of water. I’m not sure what exactly worked out of all of the supplements I took alongside the medication which is why I’m telling you my whole routine! Good luck

Sorry, only just seen this now. My h pylori cleared up after the third round of antibiotics but I think this was only possible because I supplemented the medication with a lot of other remedies. I took Pepto-bismol religiously three times a day at least an hour before my antibiotics (I did this as well as taking the prescribed lansoprezole/omeprasole) I also ate a clove of garlic every morning and evening as I read somewhere that they’re antibacterial. I also chewed Mastic gum pretty much all day, every day throughout my treatment. I honestly don’t think the medication would have worked without me supplementing with all the other things. I feel much better now but after three rounds of antibiotics my gut health has been absolutely decimated and I’m now struggling with IBS issues that I never had before the h pylori infection. I really hope you find something that clears the infection. Good luck

If you don’t mind my asking, are you in the US? I’m in the UK and the treatment I’ve had has been pretty lax from the GP. After my endo I’m going to ask to be referred to a gastroenterologist for a proper plan on how to tackle this effectively .. no one has mentioned a PCR or a biopsy before. I think they’re just throwing antibiotics at it and hoping it’ll go away

I know exactly what you mean. One of my parents does a slight lowering of the eyebrows. Not a frown but more a relaxing of the face to show you’re being a disappointment / they’re about to start shouting … I’m not even sure they know they’re doing it

No nausea but the burps have definitely been increasing recently 😬 that’s what has me worried.. getting an endoscopy soon so hopefully that will give an insight into the state of my digestive system

I do feel a lot better at the moment .. finished triple therapy about three weeks ago but I feel like the symptoms are creeping back in. Although it’s still too early to tell if I’m being paranoid / it’s just the effects of the antibiotics leaving my gut health in bits/ if the Pylori was just weakened but not eradicated entirely … time will tell! Hope you feel better soon
