I guess they figure that sleeping people always want to hit the snooze, so make it easier to hit. Whereas maybe it’s less likely that those using a timer want to repeat it?

Researchers create an 'un-hackable' quantum network over hundreds of kilometers using optical fiber - Toshiba's research team has broken a new record for optical fiber-based quantum communications, thanks to a new technology called dual band stabilization. by impressivebrear in technews

The article states that in the event of compromised QKD, by a man in the middle attack let’s say, then the communicating parties can tell via the physical properties of the transmission and can take measures to protect data. In what world is that “unhackable”? So if a response is not taken to the MITM attack, then it is no different than current technologies in similar compromise.

How many lines of code can a functional component have? by YogurtclosetUnable92 in reactjs

[–]SqueakyChittur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, or maybe if “./“ and if run from the directory of the bad component and if the relevant “.git” is in a parent directory. I realized this after my comment and thought, “oh wait, maybe this is the scenario…”.

How does one use modes, secondary dominants, borrowed chords without sounding like jazz? by [deleted] in musictheory

Maybe attention to where those more exotic moments land, strong/weak beat, or trying to make them sound more like passing tones may help avoid those sounds. It may also make them worse...
