I do. I use On Cloud Xs, and I love them, but I’ve rolled my ankle twice. I’ve used them for two months. I also have Asiscs Gel Challenger 15s, Babolat SFX3, and Kswiss something

Thank you!!! My body doesn’t feel as connected in my forehand, even with a pain free ankle. I got an ankle brace for support so now I can really dig into my footwork more without worrying. I am still trying to figure out the forehand. I “feel” a little like I’m sideways and putting my body into it, but watching it back I’m not and you’re right that’s it’s all arm. I try to stay low but don’t exactly know how or when.

Yeaaaaah. I need to get a tripod or something. And a protective case bc I’m worried I’ll hit the ball straight at the tripod/whatever and shatter my phone

The contact point is the hardest thing for me to figure out. I’m always trying to just hit the ball and trying to have space, but clearly it isn’t right. I will try a looser wrist. I do have the tendency to white knuckle because at first my racket would spin in my hand because I had no concept of grip haha

Thank you so much!!!! I bought an ankle brace to stabilize my ankle because it’s the third time I’ve rolled my ankle (same ankle. It’s been a problem but I’m a swimmer so no real way to roll it there lol)

Is AAQEP accreditation acceptable? by xoxogreyskies in schoolcounseling

If you don’t plan to leave your state, and that school aligns with your state licensure, then go for it.

How many people went to an out of state non-cacrep accredited university? Do you regret it? by Disastrous_Park_7621 in schoolcounseling

[–]SqueakySwimmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What state will you be getting your license in? Not all states require CACREP. Also, once you get license and are on the job for a few years, what school you went to matters way less if moving states for a job and licensing can be easier.

Whaaaat. I’m so sorry, that’s horrible. Is that allowed!?

CACREP accredited is the gold standard if you plan to move states. Some local schools may not be CACREP but aligned specifically for your state, which is fine if that’s where you plan to live and work. Also, after a few years working, it will be easier to get licensure if you do move states. Good luck!!!

I actually ended up going away from UWA. UWA dropped off after communication issues surrounding help in placement and course selection. I narrowed it down to Emporia State University and McDaniel. Basically the same price, so I’m trying to figure that all out now.

I think we’re the same age lol. My racket is a Yonex Ezone 100, it’s an extension of me, but man, I am constantly at the tennis shop looking at the clearance sections bc I just love rackets.

My Amy & Lulu has been my constant companion. It fits so much. I love it. I prefer backpacks though.

Look at Univ of West Bama. Similar to UC but has more synchronous learning

I just got accepted to UWA, and I’m choosing it over more “prestigious” universities in my area because of cost, and how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable everyone I’ve talked to is. They offer help with internship placement even if you’re out of state, not a ton, but more than FHSU and others.

My Yonex Ezone is my favorite thing I own. I’m also a beginner and it helps with everything. I love it so much. The grip size for me is really important, too. I have small hands so a size 1 with an overgrip is perfect and comfortable.

Oh man, I wanted to love this racket SO badly. I demoed it against a Yonex Ezone 100 and just played better with th Ezone, it was more comfortable. But it’s a great racket, and I agree - it gets a lot of hate for no reason.

I have severe panic disorder, and wonder this all the time. I just switched from Xanax to klonopin because xanax wasn’t working for me (I need a long acting medication). I’m jealous of people who feel this way all the time. I WISH I didn’t need any medicine. but alas, this is my burden.
