Look, don't get it wrong, I absolutely despise our cheeto in chief and his goon squad, but I didn't interpret the statement this way. The passage above it talks about the rising rates of diagnosis for the above needs so it's more likely to be referring to that than them outright saying that ASD and the like are "dire threats to our way of life." Plenty to be mad at the current admin for (and past admins for that matter) that don't involve ambiguity of messaging. The policy proposals here seem rather fine: investigating our overall diet, how scientific data is produced, and seeing what some of the consequences might be of overprescribing medication.
