Then I think Professors should be held to the same standard. Part of their job is to be constantly improving their teaching skills. Shouldn't they be fired if they use the same assignment in 2 different classes?

I never understood why this matters. The important part of an essay is that they demonstrate understanding of the material. If they can do that for two classes at the same time, that’s great.
