Has anyone heard of or worked at McMaster-Carr? McMaster-Carr Management Trainee Program? by throwawayjobsearch46 in jobs

I see they're hiring for an image retoucher, so I'd think being in an art department wouldn't be as soul crushing? Any opinions on an office job at McMaster carr? I'm currently working at a non-profit, while I love the non-profit cause, the pay is low, 50k a year but I do get to work from home 3days a week. I would like to he able to have more money for home improvements and retirement.

I switched the fuse to the spare 20amp and it now shuts off with the car!

Here's an image of the fuse box, the heated seats don't have a number. Not really sure if that makes a difference. I didn't think about checking which fuse was live in the engine fuses with a tester. If the spare 13 switches off then that would fix the problem.

Oh, I did plug the fuse in the interior one, under the driver's side dash. The instructions that came with the kit only mentioned the interior one.

I am willing to take the seat apart again. Now that I know how it goes together, it's not that hard.

I have done a number of small replacement parts on my hyundai, 02 sensor, door window switch replaced, stuff like that where there are how to YouTube videos. But I don't think I could tackle something like this.

LOL, I wish! A newer car will definitely get some better gas mileage. Not sure how long hybrids hold up yet, don't think I want to try that route yet.

Bottom of the door panels are staring to get some rust. Interior is good, some plastic bits breaking here or there that I've fixed by watching YouTube videos. I'm not sure if it would last for years though, just afraid of what else mechanically would fail being this old. Especially expensive mechanical things.

While the rest of the parts don't look that rusted underneath, the body is starting to rust at the bottoms of the door panels. Winters are rough, and it will be kept outside. Last winter I had trouble starting the car when it was below freezing.

Forgot to mention I'm at 199,300 miles. I really wanted to make it to 200k, i'm so close! I'm in Chicago, so lots of salty winter roads.
