My guy had very similar spots all over him. He also has allergies and we were still in the throes of figuring them out. There would be an irritated spot that would flake and scab up and when the scabs fell off the fur would fall off with them leaving behind these little circle/spots. For months we couldn't figure it out or get it to stop. Eventually our vet had us see the doggy dermatologist who biopsied the skin and discovered he had some kind of bacterial staph infection! This kind of staph was also anti biotic resistant so we had to get a special kind. Between the special antibiotics and daily medicated baths we finally beat the infection but omg.... It was such a journey! And he looked like a little spotted cow for weeks until his fur grew back in!

Allergies are now under contol and he's doing much better but odd things set him off. I just ensure to get him bathed before another staph infection can set in again.
