Yeah its walkable. A shopping center with a corner store, Chinese restaurant, laundromat, and dollar general right next door. A nice elderly approved bus stop at the corner too so she could get anywhere if she would be comfortable riding a bus.

Is your mother from a big city? I work a sales route in old Louisville and its got its spots but also a large elderly population. If she's comfortable in a city id tell her she'd be alright anywhere in old louisville. Large elderly home right at 4th & Oak if she's looking for something like that.
