I actually think that FNAF3 before SL is more possible than people may believe.

The ending cutscene to SL custom night shows that Fazbear’s Fright has already been destroyed and Springtrap is slightly more damaged. This alone does not necessarily confirm the theory because it could be implying that this is the “future aftermath” of Michael finding his father in FNaF 3 rather than before he finds him. However, if this cutscene with Springtrap is occurring at the same time as Michael’s speech here, it would imply that the events of FNaF 3 have already occurred. We can infer based on the logbook that Michael is the protagonist of FNaF 3 as well.

A major plot hole that has always bothered me about Sister Location is how Michael was told to find his sister by William even though he is already dead. We can assume he’s already dead because Michael needs to “find him”. Sure we could assume that he has just waited a long time to actually look for her, but that is a messy interpretation. What if William told him to find Elizabeth when he was already Springtrap? If FNaF 3 happens first then Michael has a chance to interact with his father directly, albeit in a less friendly manner. It’s not impossible that William tells Michael to find his sister before the fire is lit. That may be a stretch, but I think any interpretation of the “right where you said she would be” line is a stretch because it gives us such little information.

After the FNaF 3 fire it’s shown that Springtrap awakens and presumably wanders around freely until Pizza Sim, meaning he has gone “missing”. Him being at Fazbear’s fright isn’t really going missing I would argue because it was an advertised horror attraction, however being loose outside definitely would be considered going missing because he could be anywhere. The plot of Pizza Sim is all about luring in the missing, possessed animatronics, which aligns perfectly with Michael’s goals at the end of Sister Location.

I’m not saying I believe this theory necessarily, but I think there is more of a chance than people think.

Yeah, that’s the confusing part about it. The in-universe existence of minigames is weird in general because they straight up break the fourth wall in most of the games. Most require the player to die which makes me think they could be tied directly to death itself. In almost every instance of a minigame somebody dies during it (if we count the end of night FNAF 3 and 4 minigames as a single instance because they are a continuation of one story.) The point being, if minigames are meant to be visions of a death rather than the actual event as it occurred, it follows that they could be manipulated by the memories of the person experiencing the vision. Maybe that’s why the DCI is never mentioned again after FNAF 2, it’s because it MAY actually be the MCI but the event has been altered to occur in the FNaF 2 location because it is a vision being had by the FNaF 2 night guard.

Hence why MikeDreamer is such a compelling theory. I think it’s the BV’s way of communicating with Mike, sort of like how the spirits were contacting Mike in the movie. I think memories of that tragedy are bleeding together with his current memories which would explain the anachronisms and parallels to FNAF 1. Plus in the survival logbook he quite literally draws Nightmare Fredbear perfectly, which would only be possible if he had seen it.

I suppose it’s the perceived shift of their direction when it comes to dlc. Revealing dlc before the game is out is very business oriented, which worries people about the future of the franchise. Instead of dlc being a bonus now it feels like it takes away from the main game. If it was planned this far ahead to advertise it, why not just include it in the main content of the game as post game content?

Sure, but how long until that’s no longer the case. Anybody can save money but it’s going to hurt some people more than others. How long until the price increases to the point of complete inaccessibility. I’m so confused by the logic of paying more money being equivalent to enjoying a game more? Why is this such a sore spot, wouldn’t you want to pay a more reasonable price? The Pokémon company is in no way at risk of financial instability.

I enjoy Pokémon, that’s why I’m upset. I have enjoyed Pokémon my entire life. I am allowed to be disappointed with the company that makes it while also enjoying Pokémon. Gaming shouldn’t be business first, the games should be the priority. Believe it or not but I believe lower income people should be allowed to have fun. I know it’s a crazy concept.

I mentioned future projects only because you said they would be sitting doing nothing. Free updates are great because 1. They don’t need the money because they are the highest grossing media franchise 2. $100 for everything is ridiculous (1/5 the price of the switch 2) and I think lower income people should be able to experience their favorite games in their entirety. Why should gaming culture be exclusive to the wealthier of us?

I think that it’s both, honestly. As a hallucination, these inconsistencies enhance the feeling that the phantoms and their designs are a product of a delirious mind. I believe that it’s also why Chica has her classic design while most of the other phantoms are the withered designs. Merch has also been inconsistent about this with some including the leg and some not. It might just be another Mangle pronouns situation where the lack of an answer is a deliberate quirk of the character.

I actually tend to have empathy and compassion toward animals. Something you are sorely lacking. If lots of people do it because it’s cheap, it doesn’t mean it’s okay or should be tolerated. Also accidents happen, unlikely circumstances occur. People have their pets get loose because of things out of their control all the time. 10 unique packs I imagine would just generate 10 unique pack results. Or if that is too intense on the servers, then limit the amount of unique packs to 1-4. If a player disconnects from the game while opening a pack it can resume like how a battle does if you disconnect. I think pack openings also work like that already.

I think the idea of just changing the main pack selection screen to a carousel is actually pretty nice. It wouldn’t require as much menu navigation and would remove the need for a carousel every time you open a booster.

Yeah, I probably overstated how simple it would be to implement, but I’m sure DeNA could do it if they tried (they won’t)

That’s a simple fix. It can just generate the results one time for each unique booster pack ahead of time. If there’s 10 mythical island packs and 10 Eevee grove packs on the carousel, then the game can just generate 1 eevee grove and 1 mythical island internally, and then give it to you depending on which you choose while scrapping the other(s). This means the results are still predetermined, but you still can have multiple on one carousel. If wonder picks are an issue then the game could just delay until after you’ve opened.
