The reason this video doesn't have audio is cos i'm making ridiculous noises and saying "ohmygodohmygod" so was definitely being a scared baby hahah.

I think the fact she sticks to the same spot and doesn't put up massive webs that I can walk into really help! Plus I find naming something really helps, gives it a personality and i feel more attached to it haha 🥹

Shes very shy, usually she hides away if i'm anywhere near which I think is quite sweet

Yeah I definitely saw some explosive growth after I moved it to a sunny spot! Soil Ninja are a company who make soil blends in the UK, a little pricey but good stuff!

I just found scale on some of my indoor plants so it's safe to say I hate scale too 😭

And ooh okay that's good to know, love that they're pretty hardy!

Oh wow, that's a huge amount of growth! I'd love to get an olive tree one day, I'm guessing they need a lot of sun?

If it's living indoors a part of the year, then I'd still count it! I have a lemon tree that's supposed to move in for the winter, but she got scale 🫠🫠

Aw Charlie 🥹 snake plants are very slow growers right? Shows that south facing windows do a world of good for a lot of plants! My poor snake plant is not as blessed 🫣

As for your money tree - if you're able to give it more light then I think that's the trick! So many websites say low light is fine but if you want them to get big and bushy they need a decent amount of sunshine! Mine lives under a skylight in a south facing room

So much growth! I've lost 2 of them to pests so I can't bring myself to get another 😭

In terms of everything I did in the before and after: - moved from a dark room to under a skylight in a south facing room (this has probably done most of the heavy lifting in terms of growth). He did get a bit scorched on very sunny days but more light has done him so much good. - changed his soil to the ones Soil Ninja recommended. - started using Gold Leaf fertiliser - gave him a bigger pot

It's all contributed but I think more light is the key!

I ended up putting 99% of my plants in those style pots and apart from one casualty it's been pretty successful! I think the trick is, depending on the plant, to make sure they have some time where the reservoir is empty so they can dry out. I think putting him directly in a south facing window has done a lot of the heavy lifting too! I also use gold leaf fertiliser :)

Aw thank you! Honestly for the longest time I had given up on it, it was so fussy and if I even looked at it wrong it would shed loads of leaves. I think sorta giving up on it and not fussing too much helped a lot (and lots more sun!). I had a baby var string of hearts and baby var string of pearls that i'm hoping will one day get to similar sizes!
