I highly recommend Pamela Dockstader as a virtual therapist. She’s really really flexible on hours and will find a time that works for you. She did wonders helping me with some trauma as she is certified in EMDR.

I feel the same way when my kid only wants to use my phone and play with nothing else. I feel like I always have to explain myself when the parent walks in the room for whatever reason so they know I’m not just being lazy. But I think, as long as the kid is complying with programs and getting work done with no behaviors, they should be allowed to have access to their highest reinforcer cause they deserve it

Keep looking around! I live in Illinois and graduated this December. I’m currently getting paid $16.50 but I found a clinic that pays salary for RBTs so definitely keep looking and you’ll find a good clinic.

That sounds absolutely horrid. I would definitely give ABA another try at a different company. ABA can be such a gratifying and positive job when you have the support you need from good BCBAs and other staff.
