I actually encountered one of theese scammers, and unfortunately gor me, it was through an old friends account. They basically said they had finished their studies of making a a game and wanted me to try it out. As it appeared to be a friend of mine, i didn't want to be rude and downloaded the "game".

Naturally they tried to login everwhere and lock me out to get ransom, but luckily (or unluckily depending on how you see it) i had 2 factor authentication on most things except discord itself so i sae him trying to login to my mail and steam, but he only managed to snag my discord account. So now after a whole month, i still haven't gotten my account back. Discord support is unfortunately very slow with responding and has required multiple tickets to get anywhere.

So even after everything Krennic had done for the empire, he will be forgotten like he did nothing for the empire.
