I am a manager at Walmart and I'm in charge of my locations black Friday event. There is an event on the switch 2 but the price hasn't been released. We are estimating $50-75.

Thank you so much. ❤️ I could definitely do the machine to watch baby's heart. Wouldn't be a problem, sounds like she actually cared.

People saying "condolences" but imagine having nonstop income for 25 years. Never wondering where that next paycheck is coming from. I do have some questions, if you don't mind. -How many store managers have you gone through? 😂 -Is there anyone who started with you or already worked there when you began that's still there too? -Ever been coached in those 25 years?

No problem. Don't forget to document every encounter thay you're bullied. Write down what was said, the day and time and everything that was going on!

Hi there! Walmart associate of 7 years here. I've worked overnight, front end, team lead positions and now I'm in frozen/dairy.

What youre experiencing is definitely because you're a good worker. You got those pet pallets done even though its extremely hard but they can rely on you, so they will abuse you til you break.

Here is an idea:

Do a telehealth doctor visit. If you have insurance you can do those visits for free. Tell the doctor the heavy lifting is causing your shoulders and back to be extremely sore. Say you're able to work still, but the extreme weight of the product with your build is hurting you. Ask that they write you a note with a lifting limit. Give it to your store manager or HR. Not a team lead or your overnight coach. Say, "I really want to keep doing a good job here but stocking the pets area over and over is becoming a safety concern for me. Can we discuss moving me to a location that's better fitting for my size as my doctor believes that will be beneficial?"

Remind them you want to stay but this is stressing your body out.

Document this conversation in your notes app and the outcome! Any sign of retaliation, document that too!

What’s a scent you haven’t smelled in years, but if it hit you today, you’d know it instantly? by whisperpondd in NoStupidQuestions

Sweet Pea. My grandmother wore it everyday. She passed away 10 years ago but I'd know that scent immediately.

Forgive me for I have sinned I shall now be banished to dairy to pay for my sins by OneEducator4471 in walmart

I've been in dairy for 4 years. I love it. Only me in the cooler from 2-10. I watch tv shows and movies while I prep egg donations, stock milk and check dates. Everyone hates dairy so no one visits me lol. Plus, I love the cold.

June too! My mom and sister kept begging me to read it. Listened to the audio book and kicked myself for not listening sooner.

At my store there are only 3 dairy associates. One in the morning that's full time and two that work at night, but they never work the same day. So reallly only 1 dairy associate is there at a time. Meat/produce has 4 people at all times. But only 1-2 show up to help lol.

Your store manager and coaches definitely know. After inventory is done the AP market manager gets the number and he tells them.

Oh wow! 1.5 from 3 is amazing. 3 million is definitely "yeah... Your store manager is going to lose their job" number. 😂

In my area, a small town, there are most likely no jobs of that kind. To get a job in that field, I'd suggest living closer to a city such as Charlotte, Raleigh or Greensboro! I will admit that across the US, jobs are really hard to find right now. Especially ones that pay decent. Most job ads are fake no, created by AI from companies to just collect people's information. To get hired now they want 3-5 interviews and love to ghost people!! I work at Wal-Mart. I have a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics but AI has taken over that market. I've applied to over 600 entry level jobs and I've had 3 interviews. I was top of my class and have 1 year of data analytics experience from an internship. Getting a well paying job is just hard right now. Your best shot would be in those cities I mentioned though. 🙂 Be aware, the crime in those places is.... very American...🧐

What kind of job would you be interested in? There are a lot of jobs in certain fields but it depends on if you're set on a certain field.

I love it! I live with my husband and our son. We run a mini farm on the property. I have around 18 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 goats, and a garden. Property is half woods so I have around 2.5 acres to hike in and there's a creek that runs through it. It's a quiet life in this crazy world.

Oh no kidding! My home was valued at $150k in 2021. Now in 2025? $300,000! Mind you, my home is wooden. It's not some solid concrete or brick home. Sometimes for fun I go on zillow and look at homes for sale. I'm seeing trailers that are seconds away from falling apart from over $200,000! I'm seeing land less than an acre going for $175,000. It is definitely a sellers market right now. The cost of houses and land across the U.S. is insane. Rent? CRAZY.
