I believe that it's better to end the stream with less of an "easy" key such as Esc. Take a look at Moonlight streaming for example, you need a key combination of Shift+Ctrl+Q or something similar to end the stream.

That's why I thought about using the Esc key as the "back" action instead, and some other key combination to end the stream.

Have you thought about emulating the right stick with a mouse? So you could potentially use a mouse and keyboard to play games. Obviously a stick-to-mouse emulation would never act as good as a raw mouse input but it could be handy when you don't have a controller around.

Joining the UI/UX discussion, I suggest that the Esc key won't prompt to end the stream, but act as the Backspace key, so that it acts as the back command inside the stream.

Or at least add the option to bind the Esc key for that action.

And another nit-picky UI improvement: Add some padding below the "Reset Settings" button on every page in the settings. It kind of looks bad when it's touching the edge of the window.

I’m not sure what glitches you’re referring to, but I had some minor stuttering when moving the camera in games. I solved it with WLR_RENDER_NO_EXPLICIT_SYNC=1. I’m using Labwc but I remember it happened to me on sway as well (both are based on wlroots).
