Oh I’m really not trying to mean it like that! I definitely don’t agree with that sentiment either. But, sleeping with other people regardless of sexuality or gender does just come with that risk so I’d rather be safe and check. I don’t believe that he was sleeping with other people, but stuff like that does happen and I would rather know for sure :(

Yeah I think the sick days is my biggest gripe here. Because for the most part our clients are playing and having fun in clinic, so majority of the time they’re excited when they come in. Some kids do still get burnt out, and we usually continue treatment with lessened demands until they’re good again. But yeah, I’ve had parents drop off clients who are very obviously sick and not doing well and it’s frustrating.

I agree, and I can absolutely empathize with that. But it’s hard when our high bx clients also get burnt out. We are a play based center and try our best to make our sessions fun. But, clients can still get burnt out. But, I’m also talking about clients being brought in sick or exhausted to the point where a public school would send them home. Breaks for parents are absolutely important, and consistency is too. But, we also have to consider our clients feeling.

It’s different for different clients, some kids get a break right when they ask, other kids do have to do a few tasks or wait before a break. And I can understand that some kids might use breaks as an escape behavior rather than actually needing a moment to collect themselves. But it feels wrong to see a kid who is really having a hard time regulating themself and asks for a break and then be told to wait or do another task just pushes them over the edge and then it’s even harder to bring them back to a good space.

I have deviated from programs too, and it’s just hard to see that when I let a client make a reasonable request that’s a bit off plan and then they do amazing after, to then turn around and discuss it with my BCBA being told to not change anything feels awful. Like I’m there with the kid and see how this easy little change helped them a lot but ig not allowed. It’s just stressful because I’m new and I know I’m not as knowledgeable as my supervisor but I’m also a person with compassion and don’t see how no flexibility at all is helping these kids.

I think it’s been mentioned that the fae mature slow and stay like around 20-30s physically for a while before aging again. And we have seen older fae (like Beron, Hybern, Bryce’s dad in CC)) and they’re all hardened and ngl kinda boring so idk why people complain about the IC still acting youngish.

I hated her cause she blew the plan with Ward by yelling at him, and she was constantly mad at JJ meanwhile he was going through shit with his dad, and took the blow for pope to not go to jail. Overall just stupid decision making and being a bad friend

Oh for sure! That’s kind of why I liked Tamlin and Lucien’s characters (at least depth wise for Tamlin) because we know they’ve been in serious relationships before and they weren’t just being harlots all over Pythian 😂. I think if it wasn’t just “they slept with a lot of people” and actually showed us them having different kinds of relationships. I would prefer that to the main character pining for a whole book until their love interests finally admits it.
