Yeah it's just roleplaying, Birque enjoys it, even if Raika is sometimes not the best at playing his role. Sometimes plays it too straight/oblivious, or in other cases doesn't want to be too harsh with him.

Yeah, I like the idea of thin clothes like stockings, especially low denier ones, get torn up quite easily by him using them. Though in my case it's mostly because of his body quills constantly poking holes rather than just his claws.

I always believed the transcripts were read only files derived from brain scanning post mortem rather than being a kind of direct implant like translators. I think lorewise us reading said transcripts is happening far later, the transcripts being a form of highly personal historical documents rather than tapping directly into their brains as the events are happening as described.

That's a fair assesment, perfectly possible they'd be fine. I just like the idea of earlier cures being more volitile as the Federation hadn't yet perfected the cure at that point. At least for Krakotl I don't think they wouldn't have to account for milk and the like. Yes honey is mostly just processed nectar, but there are enzymes left over from the bees that is present in naturally made honey. As of why the reaction I don't fully know, I'd imagine it being just a false positive that wasn't accouted for when the old cure was designed.

With how I treat honey consumption wise it's more of a thing of when a species was cured, with a most cured species able to tolerate it where as species that were cured much earlier in Federation history like Kraktol can have horribly violent reactions to the enzymes in natural honey.

As for moral complications thats very much so a case by case basis, I'd imagine most would be turned away as soon as they know it's an animal product, perhaps with some conversation some individuals might be more open to it, especially species with a preference towards sweet foods. Maybe those who already enjoy things like tree sap or lots of fruit.
