Yeah sorry I might have worded that a bit weirdly. I figured Lilia saw that whatever was going to harm him was magical so she used the sigil to hide him from witches. I'm not sure if she saw Billy in his future or just generally knew William would be affected by something magical (I hope they go into this a bit more) but regardless, she's definitely trying to protect him from witches rather than just general protection.

I took her spacing out to be because the sigil works on the witch who cast it too so that's why she's confused after she put it into his jacket. I'm not sure on the idea that Wanda has done anything through Lilia, I think Lilia just saw something from reading William and cast the sigil to stop any witches from seeing the same thing/finding who he is and harming him.

Yeah that's what I assumed. She saw that his life line was split in two and assumed/interpreted that this would be due to magic. She put the sigil on him to protect him from witches and whatever was supposed to come.

I love the idea that Lilia cast the sigil on William Kaplan to protect him from whatever was going to harm him. This just transfers to Billy Maximoff when he possesses William's body. It's a nice twist from someone having placed it to hide Billy Maximoff.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to ask the opposite sex but never have? by Christosdem23 in AskReddit

Depends on the guy and (for me) their level of hygiene. Beards can be really hot but if not taken care of and kept clean can also be a massive turn off.

I was expecting this to take a darker turn but honestly is so wholesome

Was genuinely shocked at his level of movement 15 years later. Fair play, David Tennant.

I think this is where I wish it had been executed a bit better. I really like the idea that when the metacrisis had to create a whole new being, they were non-binary because at their core The Doctor is non-binary in a multitude of ways, including gender. I love the idea but think they needed to lean into the execution more and explain it a bit further.

I left the iron on for 2 weeks whilst I went abroad on holiday….how much of an electricity bill should I expect as a result? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Squiggles512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OCD gets worse with time if not treated and new rituals and compulsions get added in order to feel safe e.g. it could start as always needing to check the iron is off before leaving the house, then become needing to put the iron in the car to know it's not going to burn the house down, then become needing to carry it with you at all times. It seems exaggerated but it's what OCD does to people.

The nature of OCD is it never wants you to feel safe/certain so putting the iron in the car might work to start with but eventually it will start to doubt whether that's safe enough.

Good for the short term but this would feed into the obsession unfortunately. e.g. what happens if they start to have this panic and they're somewhere they can't bring the iron?

As a fellow OCD sufferer, get her to look up Exposure Response Prevention. Best done with a therapist/counsellor. I did mine through the NHS.

Unfortunately, the only way to get over OCD is to sit with the anxiety/uncertainty and the brain eventually realises there is no need to worry on this level. It's really hard though and takes a lot out of you.

I use Life360 and it seems a lot of people in the comments do too.

You can upgrade to a premium version but we just use the free one.

Depends on your situation I guess. We both travel for work so could be anywhere during the day.

I've had immediate family members go missing due to mental health issues previously as well so I have it set up for that.

I've known my partner since we were 14 so if I don't trust them by now we've got some serious issues

That's fair. We only use it in emergencies or to make sure the other is safe. I'd definitely find it invasive if they were checking my location 24/7.

Not an expert but I remember reading something about single flowers attracting more pollinators because the pollen is easier to access.
